Ashiana Farms was born from a simple desire — to belong to a place shaped by nature, not deadlines.
We are a family based in Bangalore, working in the technology industry, living fast-paced urban lives for most of the year. Like many city dwellers, we found ourselves longing for open skies, quiet mornings, animals wandering freely, and evenings that ended with birdsong instead of traffic noise. Without a native hometown to retreat to, we decided to create one of our own. That dream led us to a piece of land nestled close to a forest reserve — a place where the air felt cleaner, time slowed down, and nature set the rhythm of the day. What began as a personal escape gradually evolved into Ashiana Farms — a home shaped with care, simplicity, and deep respect for the land around it.
Our love for animals and our belief in coexistence played a defining role in this journey. Our interest in adopting and rescuing animals led us to create a space where they could be welcomed and allowed to live in their natural environment, free from confinement or disturbance. Over time, Ashiana Farms has become a refuge for many — all of whom we’ve had the privilege of giving a second chance at life. Here, wildlife is not an attraction, but a neighbor.
Every aspect of the farm has been designed thoughtfully, keeping both nature and people in mind. Our home is adapted to be inclusive and accessible, with limited steps, ramp-based entry, and lightweight, movable furniture to ensure comfort for guests with physical challenges. We believe that a truly welcoming space should be accessible to all, without compromise.
Ashiana Farms is, above all, our answer to the question of where we truly belong. We’re grateful to share this home with guests who value nature, kindness toward animals, and meaningful, unhurried experiences — and who believe, as we do, that living gently is the most fulfilling way to live
